Regional Manager - Cyber Underwriter (Midwest - US)
Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and strategically minded Cyber Insurance Regional Manager in the Midwest to lead regional growth, underwriting performance, and broker engagement. As a Regional Manager at Parametrix you will be responsible for driving new business, managing renewals, deepening broker relationships, and ensuring underwriting profitability within your assigned region. You will navigate complex client issues and priorities and lead initiatives to meet team objectives for premium growth, account retention and overall profitability. The ideal candidate brings strong cyber market knowledge, underwriting expertise, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth of the cyber insurance portfolio across the assigned region
- Confident in creating structure in undefined environments and leading others with clarity through complexity.

- Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with national strategy
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for brokers and clients
- Evaluate and underwrite complex cyber and tech E&O risks within delegated authority, applying sound judgment and underwriting discipline
- Collaborate cross-functionally to assess novel exposures and ensure consistency with underwriting appetite and risk tolerance
- Maintain clear documentation of referral rationale and support efficient decision-making through concise risk summaries
- Monitor regional performance metrics, loss ratios, and pipeline activity
- Represent the company at industry events, panels, and broker meetings
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, threat intelligence, and regulatory developments
- Identify opportunities to refine product offerings and underwriting guidelines
- Mentor and support junior underwriters and regional team members
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in cyber insurance underwriting, broking, or carrier-side distribution
- Proven track record of driving regional or portfolio-level performance
- Strong technical understanding of cyber risk, technology exposures, and security trends
- Familiarity with MGA, wholesale, and retail broker dynamics
- Established and trusted relationships with key retail and wholesale brokers across the region, with a demonstrated ability to deepen engagement and drive strategic distribution partnerships
